About Nuncmitto

Nuncmitto connects customers and restaurants through a shared platform for food gifting, redemption, and restaurant management.

Building a Connected Food Ecosystem

Nuncmitto combines a customer mobile app, merchant dashboard, admin portal, and marketing websites into one product ecosystem. I led the product design across every touchpoint, defining product structure, user flows, interfaces, supporting assets, and developer-ready deliverables.

Problem Statement

The platform needed to balance customer convenience with restaurant operations across multiple connected products.

Nuncmitto introduced a different way of purchasing and sharing meals. Instead of building a traditional food ordering app, the product centered around gifting, storing, trading, and redeeming meals while giving restaurants the tools to manage their business.

  • Customers needed an easy way to discover restaurants, purchase meals, send gifts, save meals, and redeem orders.

  • Merchants required a single dashboard for menus, orders, payments, restaurant information, and customer support.

  • Platform administrators needed dedicated tools to manage merchants, users, advertisements, and platform content.

  • The customer app, merchant dashboard, admin panel, and websites had to feel connected while serving different user needs.

The challenge was creating one product ecosystem without making each platform feel isolated from the others.

Strategy & Process

Every design decision focused on simplifying a new product concept across multiple user groups and platforms.

As the sole Senior Product Designer, I owned the experience from product structure through final delivery. My work focused on making food gifting understandable while keeping restaurant operations efficient.

  • Defined product strategy for customers, merchants, and administrators.

  • Designed information architecture across the mobile app, merchant dashboard, admin panel, and websites.

  • Created user flows for onboarding, restaurant discovery, gifting, Lunchbox, trading, QR redemption, merchant management, and support.

  • Designed wireframes and high-fidelity interfaces across all products.

  • Built a shared design system to maintain consistency across mobile and web experiences.

  • Designed customer and merchant landing pages with distinct messaging and conversion goals.

  • Produced branding assets, onboarding content, FAQs, legal pages, dashboard copy, and marketing materials.

  • Delivered complete design specifications and assets for development.

Solution, Impact & Learnings

The final product unified multiple experiences into one cohesive ecosystem for customers, merchants, and administrators.

The project resulted in a connected suite of products that supported the complete lifecycle of food gifting and restaurant management. Rather than treating each interface as a separate product, every experience was designed to work together.

  • Delivered a customer mobile application for discovering, gifting, trading, storing, and redeeming meals.

  • Designed a merchant dashboard for managing menus, orders, restaurant profiles, payments, earnings, and customer support.

  • Created an admin portal for platform management, merchant approvals, user administration, advertising, and system settings.

  • Designed dedicated customer and merchant marketing websites with tailored messaging for different audiences.

  • Established reusable design patterns that made future feature expansion easier.

  • Strengthened collaboration with developers through complete workflows, edge cases, and consistent design documentation.

  • Reinforced the importance of designing ecosystems instead of isolated products, especially when multiple user groups depend on one connected platform.
