About Meal Rollers

Meal Rollers connects customers, vendors, drivers, and administrators through one shared delivery marketplace.

Building a marketplace for every participant

Meal Rollers is a food delivery marketplace designed around customer choice, driver flexibility, and vendor growth. As the sole Senior Product Designer, I owned the product design process across the mobile apps, website, and Super Admin dashboard.

Problem Statement

Existing delivery platforms prioritized operational efficiency over flexibility for customers, drivers, and vendors.

Traditional delivery platforms rely on fixed pricing and limited user control. Meal Rollers introduced a marketplace where each participant benefits from greater flexibility while remaining connected through one ecosystem.

  • Customers had little control over delivery pricing or driver selection.

  • Drivers couldn't influence earnings or choose deliveries that matched their preferences.

  • Vendors struggled with visibility and limited customer engagement.

  • The platform needed separate experiences for customers, drivers, vendors, administrators, and public visitors.

  • Every product needed to remain consistent despite serving different user goals.

Strategy & Process

Every workflow was planned around scalable product architecture before detailed interface design began.

The project covered the complete product ecosystem rather than a single application. Design decisions focused on creating reusable patterns across every platform.

  • Defined product structure and feature priorities across customer, driver, vendor, website, and admin experiences.

  • Planned information architecture to keep navigation consistent across multiple products.

  • Designed complete user flows covering onboarding, waitlists, surveys, ordering, delivery, verification, rewards, and administration.

  • Created wireframes to validate complex workflows before visual design.

  • Built a shared design system to improve consistency and future scalability.

  • Designed responsive landing pages for customers, drivers, and vendors with role-specific messaging.

  • Designed supporting website pages including Articles, Help Center, About, Contact, and Policy Pages.

  • Designed a Super Admin dashboard covering user management, finance, verification, orders, promotions, subscriptions, quests, notifications, CMS, support, moderation, and system settings.

  • Iterated features through stakeholder reviews while maintaining a consistent product experience across the ecosystem.

Solution, Impact & Learnings

The finished product delivers one connected ecosystem while supporting the unique needs of every user group.

The final product brings together multiple platforms under one design language while allowing each experience to solve different operational needs.

  • Delivered customer, driver, and vendor mobile application experiences.

  • Designed a responsive marketing website supporting waitlists, onboarding, educational content, and support resources.

  • Created a scalable Super Admin dashboard for platform operations and content management.

  • Established reusable components and interaction patterns across mobile, web, and dashboard products.

  • Balanced stakeholder requests with long-term UX consistency through iterative design discussions.

  • Strengthened my ability to lead product strategy, information architecture, UX, UI, and developer-ready design across a large multi-platform ecosystem as the sole Product Designer.
